Balance is the Key

One of the sad realities of life is that all good things must come to an end. The last session of the Amal journey carried mixed feelings for me.

I am happy that I was able to complete the fellowship, learn all the essential professional skills and most importantly I also made friends along the way. I am leaving with valuable lessons and cherished memories.

Throughout the fellowship we worked on enhancing our skills, completing PWs and creating the Mega Project. But the last session was a bit different. That day we did not care about work and fully enjoyed ourselves. And I think it is the best example of work-life balance.

It feels good to take a break and just relax. Not worrying about the future and work made me feel light. The activities that Ma’am Iman and Ma’am Aliha had arranged for us were refreshing. I really enjoyed playing scavenger hunt which I thought wasn’t possible online. But I thought a lot of things were not possible before joining Amal Academy.

Amal Academy, it’s facilitators and fellows showed me that everything is possible. All we need is Khudi, Amal, hard work, and an amazing team.

I plan on staying in touch with my facilitators and my fellows through Whatsapp. We are also planning a meet-up so it will be a great experience to meet the fellows in-person.

These 3 months were the best time of my life. I not only learned from Amal Academy, I also learned from fellow fellows. I feel proud to be associated with such an amazing organization Amal Academy and the most wholesome community Batch 191.

I will miss this!
